Do I get full root access to my Dedicated Server? Yes, you get full root access to your server. This means that you will have full administrative controls, which normal dedicated hosting clients do not get. You can also choose to install any software or application you wish to.
What kind of support is available for my Dedicated Server? Currently, we only offer unmanaged dedicated servers for our resellers, so that all important server maintenance can be handled by you. You can, however, hire a dedicated hosting expert with Instant Dedicated on an hourly basis to do routine activities like server updates, migration re-boots and software installations.
When will I get my dedicated server once I have placed an order? If you order from our stock servers, then you will get the package almost immediately after your order has been verified, no longer than 24 hours. But, if you order custom dedicated servers then it might take anywhere between 24 to 72 Hours for us to deliver the server.
What kind of hardware is used in the Dedicated Servers? We only use hardware from the leading players in the industry such as Supermicro, Juniper, Dell, Intel and more. Most of our servers use SuperMicro microcloud chassis, which has small footprints that use less power for cooling. This allows us to significantly lower the cost of operation and pass the cost saving benefits to you and adds extra power redundancy.
What is the speed of network uplink on my server / the port on my server? By default we deliver 1Gbps or maximum 10 Gbit on each server’s network port.
How do I expand the storage capacity of my server? You can add a near infinite amount of storage to your server if you require. You can contact us for customized solutions to suite your exact needs.
How do I access my server? You can access your server through any SSH client using the root credentials that we provide in the welcome mail. You can also request a password reset in case you have forgotten your password or boot the server via our Control Panel in rescue mode and reset it yourself. Windows based servers can be accessed via Remote Desktop.
Do you offer any billing panels? We can offer WHMCS as a billing panel for your dedicated server. You can purchase the WHMCS license from InstantDedicated by contacting our sales, at a lower cost than the Market Price and then install it on your server.
Do you have an API module available? We can already offer a WHMCS module so your clients can easily reboot servers, view traffic, manage rDNS and much more. Our Blesta module is in development, but you can contact us to look at the options.
